Suvashyree Rajagopal

Suvashyree’s musical training began at the age of 8 under the guidance of her guru, Shri Sriram Sheshadri. With the blessings of her guru, Suvashyree made her first stage appearance at the age of 13. Ever since, she has performed at various events including the annual Thyagaraja Aradhana, Navaratri festivals as well as local dance programs and vocal kutcheris.

Suvashyree is currently pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the International Medical University, KL. Operating under the banner ‘Forbearance – TheCarnaticViolin.com’, Suvashyree is part of a team of teachers, passing down her musical knowledge to various students.

Suvashyree seeks to follow her guru’s footsteps and continue in her path in seeking joy, progress and excellence with the continued dedication to the Carnatic violin.
